Well organised , and experienced which made our safari in Uganda a majical and experience
5/5

In the lead up to the safari , Innocent and his staff were always prompt and friendly in responding to our enquiries , and requests .
Our itinerary across Uganda to see Chimpanzees , and Gorillas as well as visiting other National Parks including seeing Lions and Leopard in Queen Elizabeth National Park and Marchison was a fantastic experience . Our driver/guide was helpful ,friendly , knowledgable and a brilliant driver which is crucial when driving long distances in rural Uganda
We had no problems with this company and would use them again without hesitation .

Great safari in Selous and relaxing at Lazy Lagoon
5/5

We, a family of five - 3 boys age 11, 15 and 19 - ordered a tailor made week program from Tanzania Explorer. it was a great trip in all ways. The service we recieved before, under and after was excellent - and we felt safe and taken care of all the way. 3 days at Rufiji river lodge was super, and gave us both the time to "land" after a tiring journey and busy work weeks, and the chance to explore the wilderness of Africa. The boys were excited to see Hippo, Crocodiles and Impalas on the first day, and Lions, Elephants, Giraffes, Zebras and snakes the next. Rufiji is a small camp by the river, and staying in the tent huts is being in the wilderness, with hippos roaring in the river and monkeys in the trees. Very cool. Our driver Sam, was an excellent guide, and very knowledgebale and pleasant to be with. The kids loved him. Both the driving, walking and boat safari was super. After a long drive on day 4 - we arrived at Lazy Lagoon. (We took this by car, since my wife does not like small planes, but there is an air strip close to Rufuji, and I would have taken a flight to Zanzibar og Pemba if this was not an issue, because the drive back is long, like 7-8 hrs in partly heavy traffic through Dar es Salaam). This was a small paradise, with good food, relaxing days, sun, sea and play. We spent 3 nights herd, and enjoyed it very much. The place is small and quite, but there are surf boards, billiard, darts, pool etc. - but staying here is mainly relaxing... All in all a very good experience, thanks to the staff in Tanzania and Pernilla in Sweden.

One of the greatest experiences of my life!
5/5

I had read all the positive reviews in advance, which convinced me to choose East Africa Wild Adventures, yet it still managed to exceed my high expectations. From the beginning, they were super helpful in providing tips and information on how I could maximize my time in Tanzania. We spoke briefly over the phone to discuss options and I was very satisfied with the options they laid out for me. Once I arrived to the airport, my guide, Hassan, was wonderful: an expert in the region (I learned so much about the region and its history from him) and in wildlife scouting, actively helpful at all times. He ensured that I had the best time I could have, and I definitely did. Again, I had high expectations given all the positive reviews I'd read, but even those expectations were exceeded from the moment I arrived. Next time I plan a trip to East Africa, I will for sure work with them again.

Erastus
5/5

This was with out a doubt the best experience I have ever had. Completely unexpected and without expectation. There was no crowd and the tour was
Personal and intimate. Our tour guide was without exception. Erastus was his name and he was stellar. We saw all
Of the big animals along with their young. Migration was just beginning. Up close and personal. We also learned about the Masi people and their surroundings. To this day after being a world traveler this was by far the
Most memorable. Thinking about one more
Trip before cancer takes me. Loved it that much. Will definitely book with odyssey. They were wonderful!!! No detail left unattended

The trip was amazing! Out guide was great, accommodation was wonderful -The only negative we had on the entire trip was our transportation from Zanzibar Island. We had NO info for pick ups and felt totally left to fend for ourselfs.... other than that the trip was great!

Erastus was kind, funny, informative and always got us the best views of the animals.
5/5

Odyssey Safaris was so easy to work with. I appreciated the website to talk with others who had gone and came back and Mark or orthers for advice. I ended up having a transportation issue due to the airlines and the whole team were easy to reach and communicate with. They also made an effort to help find my luggage after the airlines lost it. The safari was unbelievable. We saw 76 animals species over a week, with 20 species each of the first few days. Erastus ensured that not only did we see the Big Five, but we saw the Big Five up close. The hotels were beautiful and comfortable, with everyone we met extremely kind. The food was very good. I also highly appreciated the Masai village experience to get a true idea of how the people live. It was an unforgettable experience that has left an indelible mark on my mind, and I can't wait until it is time to return.

Planning the trip from flight arrangements to the excellent lodging was seamless. Safari vehicles were well maintained and the drivers so very professional and engaging. They helped us understand the cultures and were knowledgeable about the animals as well. Highly recommend. We had friends go the year after us at our recommendation and they were so impressed also

Amazing trip to South Africa, Botswana and Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe!
5/5

After perusing itineraries for quite a while I decided to organise a three week trip for me (60 years) and my daughter (30) with Bel from Trailblazers. We were given individual treatment... just the drivers and us. What a fantastic trip we had! Starting in Johannesburg we did three safaris in Kruger plus a day trip on the Panaromic route before heading north. We travelled all the way through Botswana staying at the Khama Rhino Sanctuary where we did another more peaceful afternoon safari before reaching Chobe where we experienced yet another different and exhilarating safari. After crossing the border to Zimbabwe we visited Victoria Falls which is a must see! On the return journey through Botswana, we stayed in a traditional chalet next to the waterhole at Elephant Sands where the elephants were going about their daily lives at the waterhole only metres away. We then returned to Johannesburg and visited Soweto - a very moving experience, before flying to Capetown to complete our last leg which was a more luxurious and upbeat experience. In Capetown we met interesting people while enjoying day trips visiting Table Mountain, The Cape of Good Hope and the wineries and we also explored the city ourselves, eating at excellent restaurants and meandering through areas such as the waterfront. I cannot praise Bel enough! Before we left Australia, she contacted me regularly with necessary info and upgrades! Our accommodation ranged from traditional chalets, lodges and mid-range hotels and in each country we met up with a new driver/guide who was helpful, often funny, friendly and protective, making us feel safe and secure. The encounters with animals were amazing and have created lifetime memories for us. I am already planning my next adventure with Bel.

Great experience with Beacon safaris.
5/5

It was our first visit to Kenya and we chose Beacon safaris based on online reviews. We didn't go wrong with that! The communication was great. Beacon provided valuable suggestions and helped to complete our travel plan based on our interest. They were very accommodating. The resorts offered were all great and the game drives were very good as well.
