Trip of a Lifetime. Tour of a Lifetime. Shaun nails it!
5/5

This was the perfect experience - from the planning stages starting nine months prior to the tour to the luxurious five days on the safari. Truly trip of a lifetime that was so special because of Shaun and his ability to personalize the tour based on our requests to his incredible knowledge of everything that goes on in the park. The trip fully exceeded our expectations. We saw all of big 5 along with a check-book filled guide of other animals and birds. Shaun was an expert on all things and brought our safari to life. His excitement, knowledge and ability to share made the trip perfect. The facilities we used in the public and private park. The personalized food. Can't recommend Shaun and Moriti any higher.

The lodges were very nice and we saw alot of animals like Lions, giraffes, hyenas and so on. The food at every lodge were we slept was very delicious and people are very friendly. So i reccommed every one who wants to visit Uganda to use Kwanza Tours.

Decided to go to Uganda 2 weeks before flying out and had to figure out a car for selfdrive and a permit for the gorilla's.
After get in contact with Phionah she helped me very well with the car, some equipment for camping and the permit for the tracking.
Her driver picked me up and brought me back to the airport, a very good service from them.
When you have some problems during your trip you can always give her a call, work things out or ask advice.
I really can recomment this travel agency ...

Gorillas and Nyiragongo Volcano
5/5

I was in Uganda when i met Elizabeth who just came back from the Congo and told me all about the fantastic trip and Barack and how well everything was organized. I then contacted Barack and he organized everything in very, very short time (visa, Transport to congo, accomodation etc). Baracks brother helped me in Kampala Uganda with everything prior to departure. I am so glad I went to the Congo to see the Gorillas and did the Nyiragongo, both experiences where absolutely fantastic. The accomodation in the Congo provided was very good and in a safe area. One could walk even after dark to the next bar or the grocery shop. barack does not himself participate in the expeditions or drivings, but can always be reached, and as in my case, will take care of any Problem.
I can highly recomend Barack and his Company and if I ever go back to the Congo for a new adventure I will contact Barack first.
Keep up the spirits and the great Job you are doing.

Last minute request, absolutely amazing results!
5/5

This trip to South Africa was our first international trip as a family and a gift from me to my mom and my two oldest nephews. The safari was the main event planned for our trip and I was a little anxious as I had planned it last minute and I was not entirely sure how it would work out. Justin was amazing in helping me plan each intricate detail and in assuring me that we would be okay and be able to do what we planned. With that being said...

We had an absolutely amazing time!! From start to finish it was greater than we could have ever imagined. To be able to get accommodations in travel and lodging the way we did on such short notice shows just how much of a travel agent genius you are and speaks to the amazing relationships you have cultivated. Our driver to and from the reserve was very welcoming and very gracious. He described every part of the journey to us, pointing out the various farms and plants and trees along the way. As we entered Kruger Park, he slowed and pointed out animals as well as stopped when we spotted some on our own. On our way into the park we saw 3 of the Big Five and were more than ready for to see the rest Kruger had to offer us.

Arriving at MalaMala, we were in awe of the beauty of the lodging itself. We were introduced to Marka, our host and ranger, and from the moment we met him until the moment we left, he was an amazing help. Steeped in knowledge and humble to a fault, his excitement coupled with our own carried our entire trip. Sometimes we had a hard time determining who was more excited, us or him, as we worked to spot the various animals and tracked our favorites. Marka took me on a bush walk where I got to experience the plants up close, finding natural toothbrushes and toothpicks as well as learning which plants were the most dangerous and which could be of help in case of sickness. We spotted and encountered all of the Big Five at least three times in two days. There was not a dull moment at any point. MalaMala itself was beyond our wildest dreams! Baboons playing and Nyala grazing outside of our windows, the scenery a sigh to awaken to, and the songs of the birds a welcomed melody. The rooms were cozy and very roomy with every comfort desired and the staff was absolutely amazing. (I know I sound like I'm gushing but it really was just THAT wonderful!!). The food was delicious and each night dinner around the bonfire was accompanied by tribal song and dance which added a warmth to the atmosphere that even the fire couldn't touch.

Overall, we had an absolutely amazing time at MalaMala and in Kruger Park and I know that when I return, I will return there by way of PaperJet Travel. They are truly a God send and I thank Him for them because there is no way our trip would have been as much of a success as it was without the. Also, they gave amazing recommendations for Soweto tours and we had a great time through them as well. They are phenomenal at what they do and I cannot wait to work with them again!!! :D

Amazing tour guides, complete package
5/5

Our decision to do a 5 day Safari with Meru Slopes was the BEST idea!

From the first day on we felt like we were part of their family. Their service was exceptional.

Service: free pickup from airport, two free nights in hotel, Emanuel even joined us for dinner in Arusha and led us to a cheap local place.
Safari: great tour guide (Ezekiel), super good food - good tents and even extra acitvities in spare time.

Overall, it was a great experience to do a Safari with Meru Slopes. I would definitely do it again. Price & Value were amazing.

What a trip!
5/5

We have been on a Safari in Kenya organized with the amazing help of Patricia. She promptly answered all of our questions and really helped in deciding what choices were best for our trip.
We have chosen the Semi Luxury package and all of the lodges/camps we stayed at were exceptional and in amazing locations.
Do ask for Patrick! He was our fantastic guide during this trip, in addition to being a very enjoyable person to travel with. He really made sure we were able to see the big5 and so much more in excellent conditions. We really had good time and will probably come back some time.
Thank you Patricia and Patrick and all the travelforchangeafrica team for the excellent tour organization. We already recommended you to our friends when they would be travelling to Kenya.

MANY THANKS to Travel for Change Africa for an unforgettable experience in TZ! We'll be back!!
5/5

We just returned from a fantastic experience in Tanzania - thanks to Travel For Change Africa (TFCA). This was our first trip to Africa, and our first safari. We did a lot of homework and spent quite some time vetting potential tour operators before deciding to work with TFCA. Below are a few reasons why. They:
- made us feel like we were in very safe hands from the start
- are extremely friendly and professional in their approach
- provided us with clear, prompt, and detailed communications from the very beginning
- promptly answered all of our questions - and we had LOTS!
- gave us lots of insights into what to see & do - including what made sense, based on the time we had available
- worked together seamlessly as a team

A bit more about our experience:
We had 10 days in Tanzania and TFCA helped us put together a great itinerary that allowed us to see and do lots, at the right pace. We visited National Parks/Conservation areas, but also less touristy sights such as local markets and shops. TFCA understood that we wanted to see the spectacular scenery & wildlife, but also get a good idea of the local culture and traditions. And they also were great about putting together a journey that combined game drives with activities such as walking/hiking. In terms of accommodations, we chose mid-range lodgings and were very pleased with the selection that TFCA made for us. They were clean, comfortable, well-maintained and offered a nice variety of food. We requested one place ourself (because of their permaculture activities) and TFCA was very good about including that on our list of accommodations.

There are no guarantees about which animals one will see on a game drive, and that's something everyone needs to understand before going on safari. That said, our guide/driver Joshua was fantastic at driving at the right pace to allow us to soak up the scenery and listen to his stories about the vegetation, animals and surroundings. He was always kind, patient, easy-going, and open to share so much with us. Moreover, we loved that he was so respectful of the environment and animals. We noticed that there were several drivers/guides who would really drive up too quickly/closely to the animals, but Joshua was always very conscious of our approach. Throughout our journey, he took care of everything we needed - hakuna matata! We're still amazed at how he could drive AND spot animals at the same time - some at a huge distance. He tells us that we were lucky to see all of the so-called Big 5, but we feel much of that was thanks to his lucky star and "expert eyes/nose/ears"! We're very conscious that spending 9 days with a "stranger" could be challenging, but in our case, we really had a lot of fun & laughs with Joshua and felt he was a joy to have around. A real "people person".

Throughout our journey, the "home team" checked in with us to make sure we were happy and had all we needed. Patricia and Silvia were keen to make sure our needs were being met. They had no reason to worry - TFCA delivered beyond our expectations and we couldn't have asked for more. They were so easy to communicate with - such a pleasure! And we loved their personal approach.

We really had a fantastic first "taste" of Tanzania and are grateful to TFCA for providing us with this unforgettable journey. We feel we have made new friends. And we are already looking forward to returning!!

MANY MANY THANKS to Travel For Change Africa for such a memorable experience!!! "Asante sana" and "tuta ona baadaye"!
