Perfect Trip with a great Tourguide
5/5

Ah Eizoba safaris ! What a team !
Everything was beyond expectations, the (lodges, food, car and the guide)
My guide Dalson made my trip one of the best experiences of my life. Dalson is one true example of what we can hardwork. Driving on shabby roads, driving for long hours, his knowledge about wildlife and Uganda was all i needed. Not forgetting his funny stories

If you are looking for a company to trust that is professional, don't hesitate to trust them. I can only recommend it.

Amazing Kilimanjaro Climb!
5/5

I recently completed an unforgettable Kilimanjaro summit trip with Raven Safaris. It was an experience of a lifetime!

From the first message with Raven when enquiring about the trek, until the day I returned home, communication was great. The team were responsive and provided lots of information on the trip, ensuring I was well prepared to take on the climb.

Every member of the Raven team that accompanied me were amazing. I would not have been able to complete it without them. They were friendly, welcoming, professional, and kept spirits high even through the tough parts. My guide, Tony, was extremely knowledgeable and supportive. He carried out regular health checks, provided sound advice to avoid issues with the altitude and ensured we went "Pole Pole" to allow for gradual acclimatisation.

At the start of my trip, there was an issue with my bag not arriving at the airport. Raven were very supportive during this time and came up with a number of solutions for me. Luckily it arrived the following day and Raven were able to start my trek a day later than originally planned. They were very understanding and accommodating.

The food cooked by chef Abou was also absolutely delicious!

In conclusion, my Kilimanjaro trip with Raven Safaris was beyond incredible. I recommend Raven Safaris to anyone seeking a well organised and unforgettable adventure to the roof of Africa!

Wonderful Safari
5/5

My wife and I had a wonderful trip to Kenya. We booked a tour to Karibu Safaris and it was the right decision. Perhaps the car was not new and the accommodation was less expensive, but the emotions from the safari were unique. Driver Raymond easily found the animals and was one of the first on the spot. The manager was in touch constantly and answered all questions.

exellent
5/5

I've gotta say, Tanzania is seriously set up for tourists, especially around the Serengeti and Ngorongoro areas. I chatted with a bunch of companies and heard from lots of folks who've done safaris with a variety of groups. It seems like as long as you pick a company that's legit and has decent reviews, you're pretty much guaranteed a great safari experience with most of them.

What sets Colours apart, however, is their ability to offer safaris that are not only budget-friendly but also venture into less frequented destinations, like Gombe National Park—an absolutely stellar recommendation and a definite highlight of our East African adventure. The team's flexibility with scheduling and their insightful suggestions greatly enhanced our experience. For instance, when we considered additional days at Lake Manyara National Park, they advised us to explore the southern Serengeti instead. This turned out to be excellent advice, allowing us to witness the spectacular great wildebeest migration—a truly unforgettable spectacle.

In a nutshell, not only is this company super competent and trustworthy, but they were also incredibly helpful in planning our trip. This was a godsend for us first-timers in Tanzania. Totally recommend them.

I cant rate them highly enough! Experience of a lifetime!
5/5

I honestly can't speak highly enough of my experience with Amakula African Safaris. From the very start, Simon was extremely helpful and responsive to my (often many!) emails and queries that I had regarding the trip, and very kindly assisted me with the visa application process. He was also happy to alter the itinerary to my requests, which allowed us to include a trip to Mabamba Bay to see the Shoebill Stork.

Julius was my tour guide, who was genuinely amazing over the entire trip! He did everything he could to make sure I had the best experience possible, including making some last-minute calls to park rangers in Nyungwe National Park to ensure I had the best chance of seeing chimpanzees, and getting me in with the trekking group for seeing the best gorilla family in the Ruhija sector of Bwindi National Park, which has 3 silverbacks and 2 babies!

Julius was brilliant company on the road trips between each activity, and was so knowledgeable about the culture, history, wildlife, and everything else you might like to know about Rwanda and Uganda. Every question I had was answered! Many days we spent 5-6 hours or more in the car, taking in the gorgeous scenery, having the chats and with great music to keep us both uplifted the entire time. He was very attentive, and was brilliant in communicating each step of the itinerary, with realistic time frames of how long each road trip, trek, hike, etc., would take.

He arranged the check-ins at each accommodation, and the registrations at each activity. I was looked after and felt extremely safe the entire trip. He was happy to stop at any moment for photos of the stunning scenery, and was able to spot various wildlife along the roadside, including Black and White Colobus Monkeys that we were extremely lucky to see while driving through Nyungwe NP!

The accommodation overall was fabulous, particularly the last 2 nights (Bakiga Lodge and Mpogo Safari Lodge), and the food was also amazing. Some of the activities, such as the Mount Bisoke hike and Gorilla trek, required a packed lunch, which the accommodations were happy to arrange with multiple meal options available to choose from.

Simon called to check in regularly to make sure everything was going well and that I was happy with my experience. He also made a huge effort and managed to meet us on the last day of the tour for a section of our road trip to Entebbe, so it was lovely to meet him in person and get to hear about his life and passion for his business.

This trip/itinerary with Amakula African Safaris is something I had been looking at on and off for over a year. It stayed in the back of my mind the whole time, but I kept talking myself out of it as its a long way to travel for just one week and would take a lot to save up for it. However, it was still the best value week-long itinerary I could find that covered Gorilla and Chimpanzee trekking, amongst many other activities. I finally talked myself in to taking the plunge and booking the tour, and my god am I so so glad that I did! I think in Simon and Julius I have made some great friends for life! A once in a lifetime experience that I will never forget!

We had booked our tour from America with Emilie Tours LLC for tanzania and Zanzibar. And they partnered with Kiboko Land Adventures for our safari portion for Serengeti, Tarangire and Ngorongoro. Everything was amazing from the food, informations, the landscape and of course our amazing guide Gasper !
We saw many amazing animals, always had the best spots and arrived first to enjoy the best scenes from the wilderness life.
We recommend Kiboko Land Adventures for your next safari in Tanzania 🇹🇿

We will be back again!

True luxury, excellent organisation and communication, highly reliable and very friendly.
5/5

We had a truly great experience from the pickup at the airport to the drop-off on our last day. Everything was perfectly taken care off, the hotels (Governor's Residence in Kigali and Five Volcanoes at the national park) were wonderful and our hikes to see first the gorillas and then the golden monkeys were amazing. Food and service were very good and the little extras such as fresh water bottles in the extremely clean and tidy car, gaiters for the hikes and a foot massage and shoe cleaning after each bike provided for a feeling of luxury. Very good value for money! Would highly recommend choosing this tour operator.

We did the tour with Jackson, and honestly it was all great. He organized everything from A to Z, and he was flexible with the plans and was able to do last minute changes.

I would highly recommend him and the tour company for any trip you plan to do in Uganda!

Excellent!
5/5

I travelled four times with Peter Wairasho between January 2019 and November 2023 on
Individual Bird Photography Tours; each between 2 and 4 weeks. Peter brought the wanted
Landcruiser with pop up-roof and all windows fully to be opened. He drove that car like a professional driver. We went to many of the NPs to find the birds of my target list. And he found them! I had the impression he knows all of the estimated 1100 species in Kenya, as well in their taxonomic names.
Peter Wairasho is a well known birder in Kenya, many times participating in the yearly ringing actions in Tsavo West (Ngulia Lodge). He has a good sense of humor and patience with Bird Photographers which is not very common with many Bird Guides.
So, I can highly recommend a Wildlife and Bird Tour with Twinspot Tours and Travel in East Africa!
