Outstanding: very responsive, terrific guide, superb value, a dream come true!
My wife and I went on a 12-day safari to northern Tanzania with Massawe Adventures in February 2024. Our holiday included 2 to 3 days each in 4 locations: Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, Ndutu and Serengeti National Park.
We had several key priorities:
a. to photograph the wildlife we saw, and to spend as long as it took to get “the shot”;
b. to see as many of the key animals as possible, with cheetahs especially important;
c. to see as many birds as possible.
Due to our specific requirements – and in particular our keenness to spend as long as we needed observing and photographing particular animals and birds - we decided not to join a group, but rather for the two of us to travel with our own guide/driver.
Idda, who organised the whole trip for us, was extremely responsive to our requirements: she recommended great safari lodges; made sure that our dietary and other requirements were met; and suggested a perfect itinerary. She chose Temba as our guide because his knowledge and enthusiasm for birds was outstanding. He was an ideal guide: very knowledgeable and informative, a very easygoing and amusing companion, and with a quite uncanny ability to spot animals at great distance, resulting every day in sights we couldn't have have dreamed of spotting without him.
One unforgettable highlight was witnessing a cheetah making a kill. Temba saw it from a considerable distance, and instinctively knew it was about to chase down a small group of Thompson's gazelle. No amount of documentary footage could prepare us for the thrill of seeing this breathtaking creature accelerate so fast the antelopes it was chasing looked like they were strolling in the park! Seconds later it had made a kill, and we were able to see it guarding its kill.
We planned every detail of our trip in close conjunction with Idda, who booked all our accommodation, flights etc. Nothing we requested was too much trouble, down to buying the precise quantity of kidney beans needed to fill our photographic bean bag!
I don't have adequate words to express how wonderful Idda, Temba and Massawe Adventures made this trip: I can't imagine how it could have been bettered, and I would recommend this company in the highest terms if you want to experience the most satisfying safari possible.

A beautiful reality in the world of agencies that organize safari
I've bene, with my wife,last february in Tanzania and i came across this agency that i can only speak well, clean and confortable means of transport, very good italian-speaking guide, never aswerve in traveling bumpy traks, hotel accommodations above all expectations, the variety of food served at noon can be improved, preparation of the trip online always collaborative and presente.
And last but no least, eccellente value for Money. Highly recommended.

We did a 5 DAYS / 4 NIGHT PRIVATE LUXURY SAFARI TOUR which was just amazing! We had a great experience. Thnx Relish of Africa for making our dreams come true! They created a customised tour for us and accommodated all our special requests. Managers were very kind and attentive. They did their best to make our holidays unforgettable. We've got one of the best Guides - Frank, who became a real friend for us during Safari! All Lodges were amazing, good 4x4 Safari jeep, excellent food. And of course stunning Nature and Animals! We saw lots of animals including Lions, Cheetahs and even Rhinos! We didn't see only Leopards, however we saw them couple of year before during another trip, so we closed our Big Five!

Again we booked with jemmy safari. All was perfect organized as usual. We had a great camp and fantastic days. This time we booked a balloon drive via jemmy safari too. It was an amazing experience and we all loved it very much. It won’t be the last we will engage Jemmy. Thanks very much dear Jemmy for all the nice experience we had.

Unforgettable memories
My wife and I had a trip of 9 days of safari with buyaga. The owner, Peter was so good at responding everytime we needed anything. He was very nice and helpful. Our guide Derrick was very experienced in his work. We had a very adventurous and unforgettable time with him. In 9 days we visited Ziwa rhino sanctuary, Murchison falls, Chimpanzee tracking at kibale national park, Queen Elizabeth national park, Gorilla tracking at Bwindi impenetrable national park and lake mburo national park

We loved visiting the apartheid museum, Mandela’s house amongst others. Soweto is also in the tour, he showed us the “three” sides of Soweto: the rich, the middle class, and the lower class. What they do with the tours to help the communities in Soweto is amazing

Superb Masai Mara Safari experience.
I have to say that it is an experience that must be lived and that will undoubtedly leave a beautiful memory in your mind. The 3 days of Safari were phenomenal and this would not have been possible without the help and tireless work of our driver and guide James Gichina, who I recommend 1000% for this type of adventure in Masaai lands. James is a helpful person, punctual, pleasant, fun and with a lot of experience within the Masaai reserve, he stays in constant contact with other drivers to take you to the best places where the vast majority of animals are found, he has an appetite for adrenaline and to satisfy its passengers. James Gichina moved to every possible corner to see the BIG FIVE with us, he was attentive to our requests and constantly motivated us not to lose faith. Without a doubt, this experience without his abilities would not have been possible, and even more importantly, it would not have been so wonderful thanks to his talent when driving his 4x4. Thank you James Gichina, you made this, one of the best experiences of my life.
