Tiyani took us from Hoedspruit to Johannesburg, a 6-7 hour drive. There were several bathroom breaks at nice locations and a stop for lunch.

Very nice organization, everything was clear from the beginning. The cars were very comfortable and the driver was super nice and helpful. One thing I would change would be the standard of the hotel we were staying for one night (there was a problem with the towels and water). But overall I had a really great time!

I had a really great experience with Suricata Safaris. The communication was good and the whole trip was well organized. Our guides were friendly, reliable and very knowledgeable. They gave us lots of interesting information about the animals, nature and the different areas we visited, which made the safari even more enjoyable.
The safari itself was an unforgettable experience and we saw many amazing animals. Some of the drives were quite adventurous and a little bumpy at times, but that was also part of the safari experience.
Overall, I felt that the safari offered good value for money and I would definitely recommend Suricata Safaris to other travelers.

Fun little safari trip (4-day tour)
I was looking for a last minute short safari trip out of Nairobi, and Peter from Edwin Safaris was quick to respond with a quote. We were able to agree quickly on the proposed tour, and I was kept informed on the progress and on any changes to the plans.
The tour itself was very enjoyable, the game drives at Lake Nakuru and Maasai Mara had all the animals we were looking for, and the overnight stays were good. Our tour guide Sam did a good job and is clearly an experienced guide and driver.
As for downsides, the 4-day tour felt a bit rushed with significant travel time between the locations and little downtime, and we had some minor inconveniences along the way.
I am, all in all, quite satisfied with the service and the tour provided by Edwin Safaris.

Very good organization
Jackson, our guide, was incredible, always attentive to everything. We had a health issue, and he was always by our side. He went out of his way to accommodate the entire group and our specific needs throughout the safari. We were able to see the Big Five up close thanks to his expertise. The hotels could be improved, and the food was quite average.

Great value for your money
The tour itself was incredible, we saw so much wildlife. The vehicle was comfortable and fit for purpose (private 4x4) Be prepared to get very dusty and take plenty of snacks. The days are long and distances vast if you want to cover a lot of land like us (Nairobi to Watamu) We always felt safe and looked after.

Excellent communication with clients — everything feels easy, smooth, and stress-free
You can feel confident that you won’t be left without support. My manager stayed in touch with me from start to finish, and she communicated in the way that was most convenient for me — by text. I know of cases where other tour companies simply stopped responding to clients once the safari had started, so I really appreciated this.
As for the downsides, there was some misunderstanding regarding the choice of hotel, but the issue was resolved successfully. I would advise other travelers to double-check all the details carefully.
Other than that, it’s an excellent tour company. I definitely recommend them.
