We recently embarked on a 5-day Kenyan safari tour to Masai Mara, Lake Naivasha, and Lake Nakuru, and it was truly an unforgettable experience! From the moment we were picked up, our tour guides, Dennis and Peter, exceeded our expectations. They were not only highly knowledgeable about the local wildlife but also incredibly friendly and easy-going, which made the whole journey even more enjoyable.
One of the standout aspects of this tour was how considerate our guides were regarding my wife's pregnancy. They went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable throughout the trip. They carefully selected the best roads to minimize any bumps and arranged for accommodations that were not only comfortable but also conveniently located. This attention to detail and genuine care made us feel safe and well taken care of at all times.
The safari in the Masai Mara was the highlight, with our guides expertly navigating the park and providing insightful information about the animals we encountered. We were lucky enough to see the "Big Five" and countless other species in their natural habitats. The boat ride on Lake Naivasha was serene, offering close-up views of hippos and a variety of bird species. At Lake Nakuru, we were mesmerized by the sight of a hunting lioness and even spotted a few rhinos.

Fantastic experience, great guide, good value
We took a 6 person private tour with Frena through Rwanda and Uganda. Our itinerary started with the Golden Monkeys in Rwanda before doing a Gorilla and Chimpanzee trek in Uganda. We also had a boat ride on Lake Bunyonyi and the Kazinga Channel and a game drive in Queen Elizabeth NP. We had a fantastic time on the tour, the Gorilla and Chimpanzee treks were the highlights. We'd also highly recommend our guide (Ronald) who was excellent at making sure the trip ran smoothly, providing us with information throughout the journey and answering our many question in depth. One area for improvement would be with the Frena head office. While our experience was still smooth some of their communications could have contained more detailed / organised.

We went to Tanzania in May, and visited three national parks: tarangire,ngorongoro,serengeti. We saw many animals, including giraffe peepee, lions rest in the tree, and elephants only eat flowers on the ground. Is a very magical experience, i really like this palace, i will back in dry season!

Marvelous Holiday with Brian
Fantastic holiday arranged by Brian the minute he picks us up from the airport.
Had a very nice river cruise dinner with the view of the sunset and we manage to see some Rhinos and Crocs in the rivers.
Have a very good guide, Gary to take us for the Victoria Falls trail with very good detailed explanation....
Have a good time doing the Safari Drive but too bad we did not see any lion and baffalo....
We even get to take the helicopter to view the victoria falls from the sky.
Overall have a good time with all the arrangement done by Brian. He make sure we are always safe till the time he send us back to the airport.
Looking forward to have another adventure... definitely will engage Brian again to arrange our holiday..

Excellent choice by our touroperator
This company was arranged by our tour operator. An excellent choice. Sam picked us up in Waterbergen at the Honeyguide game ranger camp. He was right on time, which was important, because after a journey of almost five hours we had to be back at the Klaserie private game reserve park in time for another game drive. Sam was a great, pleasant driver.

We had anunforgettable trip, all thanks to Hippo Travels. despite some initial issues with our flights and luggage, they went above and beyond to resolve everything quickly and efficiently, even it it was not their problems. Our safari experience was nothing short of spectacular. It was just my husband , myself and our incredibly knowledgeable guide, who truly knows the bush. We did not share a vechile with other people. Joel (our guide) stories were captivating, and he ensured we saw everything we wanted. We felt completely safe in his hands throughout the journey. The lodges Hippo travels booked for us were outstanding, and the Maasai hut camp will forever hold a special place in our hearts. This trip was an adventure of a lifetime, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Oh and i must mention money wise a lot cheaper than the other tour operators. 5 days family trip
We traveled to the Serengeti and Ngorongoro with Bryson, our driver, and Mtumishi, our cook. They went above and beyond to make our trip fantastic—we had delicious food, wonderful driving, and flawless organization! While most of the campgrounds lacked amenities like hot water, some did have comfortable tents and sleeping bags. We got up close and personal with several lions and all five of the big five. Fantastic experience; we are really grateful to Bryson and Mtumishi for their care.
