This route offers a more scenic experience than the Naromoru Trail and lies on the drier side of Mount Kenya, providing some of the best trekking conditions. The climb takes you through lush forest and up along a broad ridge leading toward the summit. Starting on the mountain’s northwest side near Nanyuki, the trail is easily accessible and features the most comfortable bunkhouse facilities in the area.
