The park covers 321 km² and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, famous for its dense rainforest and rich biodiversity. There is an option to trek gorillas in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, home to the Nyakagezi Gorilla Family. This park features three Volcanic Mountains: Mount Gahinga, Mount Sabyinyo, and Mount Muhavura.
