This adventure takes you from Arusha to Lushoto and Mazumbai Forest Reserve, a pristine montane rainforest. The reserve offering excellent opportunities to see endemic birds, black-and-white colobus monkeys, chameleons, butterflies and ancient rainforest trees. The Usambara Mountains are often called the “Galápagos of Africa” because of their exceptional biodiversity and high number of endemic species.
