The great migration is on one of the most magnificent events, the Mara River crossing occurs around late July to August with parts of September where the herds cross while going to Maasai mara and again around the last two weeks of October through early November on their return south. Timed right, there is a huge chance that you witness the great migration crossing the Mara River fighting against the Crocodiles, the strong river currents as well as running from the predators that track them.
