Tarangire is the national park with one of the highest density of elephants in world, so you will be almost guaranteed to see some of them. It is northern Tanzania, And closest to the city of Arusha than of other major national parks, making and ideal day trip destination or a must for short stays. Its ecosystem is also defined by the long-distance migratory movements of eastern wider-bearded wildebeest and zebras. The park is also known for its abundance of the huge baobab trees.
