The Machame route is also known as the Whiskey route; given its reputation for being a tough climb. Machame route is one of the best routes on Ascending Mount Kilimanjaro, with great scenery than any other route. The fact that you ascend the Mount on a different route and descend on the different one gives it a very big value. The impressive Vertical Barranco Wall is another attraction on this route. The supply of oxygen is as well great on the Machame route due to its vegetation.
