Bwindi National Park is a large and beautiful area of thick rainforest that covers the hilly areas of the Albertine Rift. It is a special place with lots of plants and animals, including ten groups of gorillas that visitors can follow. American animal scientist George Schaller, who was among the first to observe gorillas in their natural habitat, once said: "When someone looks into the eyes of a gorilla, which is peaceful and defenseless, they cannot help but be affected and transformed.
