Arusha National Park is a small but diverse park located just 45 minutes from Arusha town. It offers stunning views of Mount Meru, lush montane forests, open grasslands, and scenic lakes like the Momella Lakes. The park is ideal for walking safaris, canoeing, and game drives. Wildlife includes giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, colobus monkeys, and flamingo. Though it doesn’t host big predators like lions, it’s rich in scenery, birdlife, and peaceful nature perfect for a short adventure near the city.
