Mikumi National Park is Tanzania’s fourth-largest park and the easiest to reach from Dar es Salaam. It covers 3,230 km² (1,250 mi²) and lies between the Uluguru Mountains in the north and the Lumango Mountains in the southeast. The park is home to many animals, including elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, zebras, leopards, crocodiles, and pythons.
