The Marangu Route is Kilimanjaro’s easiest and most popular path, often called the “Coca-Cola” Route. It features sleeping huts instead of tents and a gradual ascent, making it suitable for less experienced climbers. Usually completed in 5–6 days, it starts and ends at Marangu Gate. While less scenic than other routes, it offers lush rainforest trails and views of Mawenzi. Ideal for comfort, shelter, and a lower-cost climb, though it can be crowded.
