Unlike any other safari in Tanzania, this journey combines the thrill of tracking wild chimpanzees in Mahale Mountains with the serenity of Lake Tanganyika — the world’s longest freshwater lake. You'll begin in Dar Es Salaam to Kigoma before venturing into one of Africa’s most remote and beautiful national parks. You'll spend time trekking with chimpanzees in the rainforest, relaxing and exploring by boat. Best Time: June–December (dry season, ideal for hiking & tracking).
