This is a serious mountain trek for fit hikers and mountaineers, rewarded with spectacular panoramic views of Lake Tanganyika and the Mahale Mountains. After the descent, enjoy two days of chimpanzee tracking with the famous M-group. High fitness required for Nkungwe. June–November.
