You'll have to search far to experience African Wildlife and the African Bush better than in Botswana. It has endless scenic beauty wherever you go, the wildlife is absolutely amazing and the bird life will not let you down either.

Botswana has a very stable government and wildlife abundance that rivals east African countries. The Okavango Delta is just the beginning!
Botswana is a very friendly place. The government is stable and doesn't tolerate corruption. There are many locals who have small safari services and some larger safari companies, too. There are good choices and the prices are fair. The country has so much to offer - the wetlands of the Okavango Delta, the salt pans of Nxai Pan National Park, the bushveld of the Central Kalahari Game Reserve. I'd go back to Botswana in a heartbeat! But if you go in their summer, be prepared for blistering heat!
Central Kalahari is so spacious and dry that animals are spread widely. The other parks however have more density of all kind of animals, also as a result of more water.
Botswana is a beautiful, unique and incredible place to visit. It is also probably the safest and friendliest holiday destination in Africa, which is a bonus.

The only thing I didn't see on my wish list for this trip was Cheetah!
Botswana is really natural africa in my eyes, with many many animals and wonderful people!

Botswana was definitely more remote feeling and wild that what I'm used to (and I grew up in rural America). I saw animals all the time while I traveled Botswana. The people were really kind as well.

Botswana remains quite untouched like other more accessible parts of Africa. The Okovango really is special and unique and the true old school safari takes you into another sense of time. Large elephant herds are common and the concentration of game generally surpasses those seen in other parts of Southern Africa.
East Africa is special in its own way, but is spoilt by higher costs and mandatory chaperoning.

Botswana felt exotic, with lots of wildlife easily seen, even just driving through town! The people are pleasant, and I never felt unsafe at any time.
