A Magical Location for a Wild Bush Safari
Overall rating
5/5

We stayed in a couple of "posh tent" lodges in the middle of the park. It was very exciting because we flew in on a light aircraft and were picked up by a 4x4 to take us to the lodge. Both lodges we stayed in were fantastic and very atmospheric - we got woken up at 3am one night by an elephant eating the tree outside out tent!

The guides were all very professional and had great knowledge of the area and the wildlife. We liked the concept of setting up a table in a clearing and stopping for tea and cakes for the morning and a cocktail for sunset.

Due to the time of the year the big animals were a little patchy - we could go for 30-60 mins and only see antelope - we did see everything we wanted to see with the exception of a leopard (notoriously shy).

We loved it and are currently saving up to go again!

In the middle of the nature

I went to Botswana with my sister and was amazing to be in their vast and perfectly well preserved national parks.
It is a priviledge to be with not many tourism in the middle of a beautiful and pristine nature, that belong to the animals and being and spectator of all that wild life.
Botswana are doing well, preserving its amazing natural heritage from the massive tourism.
We stayed in incredible and small lodges, saw a lot of natural life and unforgeatable countryside and all the guides and personnal were very profesional, knowleadge and kind.
Absolutamente worth the value for money

Raw African Beauty and Wildlife!

I have done several other safari’s, and Botswana is exactly what I’ve been looking for! Rustic bush experiences abound, and the people are beautiful and kind. I felt like we were out exploring nature, not driving around a big zoo. I would absolutely recommend Botswana to anyone who is looking for an up close and personal experience with the beauty of Africa’s nature and wildlife.

Kim Wagner, Safari online was the perfect booker.
Ghoha Hill camp in Zavuti was just a disappointment with a lack of maintenance and refurbishment urgently needed! In contrary Kiri camp on Chiefs Island was exceptionally good, brand new and only could be recommended.

We spent five days in Botswana at the Boteti tented safari lodge. This was a great place with wonderful staff and a very relaxed feel. The tents are very luxurious with electricity and an ensuite bathroom. The only downside of the place is that it is quite a long drive from the game reserve areas which makes the game drives quite a long day out. Game viewing was amazing though and well worth the trip. We also particularly enjoyed the canoe trip on the Okavango delta. The only problem we had was that Mzansi experience had not confirmed our booking to the lodge though I had paid in full and received a confirmation from Mzansi. This meant the lodge were not expecting us and did not meet us at the airport. However the staff coped brilliantly and resolved all the issues.

Chobe National Park is a must for the wildlife enthusist

We had the best day trip from Victoria Falls to Chobe National Park. We were picked up on time by 2 lovely guys who gave us so much local information on the way to the border. Our border crossing was seemless, our giudes handed us over to another local guide where we went to the tour base. Our 3 hour water safari was spectacular, we saw crocs, hippos, buffalo, elephants, bird, water monitors, impala, warthogs and ample birdlife. Lunch was delicious and plentiful then we set off on our overland safari which was again amazing which included many more of the above plus Kudu, Lion, rare birds, giraffes and heaps more. Our border crossing back was just as seemless and our 2 local guys were waiting for us to take us back to Vic Falls. We stoppped on the way at 'The Big Tree' for a photo op which was nice. Our safety was never in question and all the guides and staff were fabulous, a trip highlight for me, thanks :)
