Day 1

Zanzibar – Tarangire National Park – Karatu/Ngorongoro

Zanzibar – Tarangire National Park – Karatu/Ngorongoro

Early morning hotel pick-up in Zanzibar and transfer to Zanzibar Airport.

Scheduled flight Zanzibar → Arusha (approx. 1–1.5 hours).

Upon arrival, meet your driver-guide and transfer to Tarangire National Park (via road ~2 hours or charter to Kuro Airstrip).

Game drive in Tarangire, famous for elephants, baobabs, and seasonal wildlife concentrations. Picnic lunch inside the park.

Late afternoon transfer to Karatu/Ngorongoro highlands for overnight stay in a comfortable mid-range lodge.

Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha – Zanzibar

Early breakfast, then descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. Spot lions, elephants, hippos, buffalo, flamingos, and possibly black rhino.

Picnic lunch inside the crater.

Afternoon transfer back to Arusha Airport (or Manyara Airstrip) for your flight to Zanzibar.

Evening arrival in Zanzibar, transfer back to your hotel (optional).
