Travel from Nairobi to Masai Mara

Your guide will be ready to pick you up from the airport or your hotel in Nairobi and assist with your luggage early in the morning. This tour has a short stop at the Rift Valley viewpoint for photos against the Rift Valley and another bathroom break in Narok town. You will arrive at the camp or lodge in the afternoon and check in for lunch. At 4:00 pm, you will go on your first thrilling game drive in the Masai Mara National Reserve, one of East Africa's premier safari destinations. You will then return to the resort in the late evening, in time for dinner.

Game Drive Masai Mara National Reserve

This day begins with an early morning breakfast before beginning a full day game drive in the vast Masai Mara Reserve. Your full-day game drives will take you in search of Africa's Big Five (Elephant, Lions, Leopard, Buffalos and the endangered black rhino) and other wildlife that live in this vast Kenyan game reserve.

Even though sighting of all the big five is not always guaranteed, the variety of wildlife in this reserve is still amazing. Additional wildlife that you are likely to see include the spotted hyena, the Masai giraffe, grey-backed jackals, zebras, hippos, crocodiles, warthogs, baboons, cheetahs, and several species of antelopes (impalas, wildebeest, topi, hartebeest, gazelles, bushbucks, waterbucks, elands, dik-diks, and reedbucks).

Visiting the Masai Mara Game Reserve between July to October gives you the best chance to witness the spectacular wildebeest migration, one of the 7 wonders of the world.

Travel back to Nairobi City

Your morning begins with an exciting bush breakfast served within the camp. You will depart from your safari lodge/camp after breakfast with an optional visit to Masai Village before returning to bustling Nairobi, arriving late in the afternoon. This unforgettable 3-day Masai Mara safari ends upon arrival back in Nairobi. You will be dropped off at the hotel or airport (you will advise our guide).
