Depart Nairobi early in the morning and drive south across the scenic Athi Plains toward Amboseli, a journey of approximately 4–5 hours. Upon arrival at the park, enjoy your first en-route game drive as you make your way to your lodge or camp. Amboseli’s open plains are home to elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and many bird species, with the snow-capped peak of Kilimanjaro providing a majestic backdrop.
Check in at your lodge in time for lunch and relax before heading out on an afternoon game drive. As the sun sets, the park comes alive with golden light ideal for photography. Watch herds of elephants silhouetted against Kilimanjaro’s slopes before returning to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After a relaxed breakfast, take in the serene views from your lodge and enjoy a leisurely morning at your own pace. You will be driven to visit a nearby Maasai village for a glimpse into the traditional culture of the Maasai people before checking out.
Depart Amboseli late in the morning with an en-route game drive as you exit the park. Stop for lunch along the way and continue your journey back to Nairobi, arriving in the late afternoon — marking the end of your short but memorable safari adventure.
