After breakfast, drive to Lake Naivasha, a circular freshwater lake fringed by fever trees and overlooked by Mount Longonot. The lake supports a variety of wildlife including giraffes, hippos, and waterbuck, and is one of Kenya’s top birding spots, with species such as the African fish eagle, great white pelican, Fischer’s, and yellow-collared lovebirds. Visit Crescent Island, a partially submerged volcanic caldera, home to giraffes, buffalo, and many birds. Continue through the scenic Great Rift Valley toward Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for its rare white and black rhinos. Upon arrival, check in and enjoy lunch at the lodge.
