Your adventure begins with a morning pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or the airport.

Journey north across changing landscapes, passing Mount Kenya en route to Samburu.

After check-in and lunch, head out for your first afternoon game drive to spot Samburu’s unique wildlife like the reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, Beisa oryx, and graceful gerenuk.

Day 2

Full day at Samburu Park

Full day at Samburu Park

You start your second day in Samburu with an early morning game drive as the sun rises over the rugged hills.

This is when the reserve is most alive, and you have a great chance of seeing lions, leopards and elephants before the heat of the day.

Samburu is famous for its rare northern species like the reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, oryx and the long-necked gerenuk.

In the late afternoon, head out again to catch the warm golden light and watch elephants gathering at the Ewaso Nyiro River.

The day ends back at the lodge with dinner under the stars and the sounds of the wild around you.

Day 3

Samburu to Ol pejeta

Samburu to Ol pejeta

After breakfast, you leave Samburu and drive toward the cool, green foothills of Mount Kenya. Drive time is approx 3 hours.

The landscape shifts dramatically as you arrive at Ol Pejeta, a conservancy known for its strong conservation work.

After lunch, you visit the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary, the only place in Kenya where rescued chimps are cared for.

Later in the afternoon you have the option to head out on a game drive (you'll pay park fee) where you can spot black and white rhinos, elephants, lions and, with luck, the shy leopard.

As the sun sets, you settle into your camp for a peaceful evening surrounded by nature.

The journey takes you down into the Great Rift Valley, with sweeping views along the way. Drive time is approx 5 hours.

After arriving in Naivasha and checking in, you enjoy a calming boat ride on the lake, gliding past hippos and watching fish eagles swoop for their catch.

If you like, you can add a walk on Crescent Island, where animals roam freely around you.

You end the day in a serene lakeside setting, perfect for unwinding.

Day 5

After breakfast, you begin the scenic drive to the Masai Mara, passing through rolling farmlands and Maasai countryside.

You arrive in time for lunch and a short rest before heading out for your first Mara game drive.

The wide-open plains feel endless, dotted with giraffes, elephants and antelopes.

As evening approaches, predators begin to stir, offering some of the best wildlife viewing in Africa.

You return to your camp for a warm dinner and a quiet night surrounded by the sounds of the savannah.

Today is dedicated to exploring the Masai Mara at its best.

You head out, after breakfast, out at dawn when the golden light spreads over the plains and wildlife is most active.

The day brings you close to lions, cheetahs, elephants and, during migration season, massive herds of wildebeest and zebra.

A picnic lunch will be enjoyed inside the reserve, allowing for uninterrupted wildlife viewing.

You may also choose a hot-air balloon safari at an extra cost.

The day ends with a beautiful sunset and a peaceful dinner back at your lodge.
