Serengeti National Park

You will be picked up early in the morning at around 6:00 am from your hotel in Arusha to begin your journey to Serengeti National Park. After a short briefing, you will depart in a safari vehicle and drive through the scenic landscapes of northern Tanzania.

The route takes you across local villages and into the Ngorongoro Highlands, where you will enjoy breathtaking views of rolling hills, forests, and volcanic terrain. Along the way, there will be opportunities for short stops to stretch and take photographs. As you descend from the highlands, the vast open plains of the Serengeti gradually unfold, offering your first impressions of this world-famous wildlife ecosystem.

Upon entering the park, you will enjoy an introductory game drive, with chances to spot wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and predators as you make your way toward your lodge or camp. The day combines scenic travel with exciting wildlife viewing, marking a memorable start to your safari adventure.

Serengeti National Park

On this day, you will enjoy a full-day game drive in Serengeti National Park, exploring its vast plains and diverse wildlife habitats. After breakfast, you will set out with your experienced driver-guide for an extended safari, allowing ample time to search for wildlife in different areas of the park.

The Serengeti is home to the Big Five, as well as large herds of wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, elephants, and a wide variety of bird species. Depending on the season, you may also witness parts of the Great Migration, one of the most remarkable natural events in the world. A picnic lunch will be served at a scenic spot within the park, surrounded by nature.

Throughout the day, your guide will share insights into animal behavior and the ecosystem, making the experience both exciting and educational. In the late afternoon, you will continue game viewing before returning to your camp for dinner and overnight, reflecting on a day filled with unforgettable wildlife encounters.

Ngorongoro Crater

On this day, you will check out early from your camp and depart Serengeti towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. After a scenic drive through the highlands, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife areas.

Inside the crater, you will enjoy a rewarding game drive across grasslands, wetlands, and acacia forests, with excellent opportunities to see elephants, lions, buffaloes, hippos, and a wide variety of birdlife, as well as the rare black rhino. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed within the crater, surrounded by breathtaking scenery.

In the afternoon, you will ascend from the crater and begin your drive back to Arusha, passing through scenic landscapes. Upon arrival, you will check in at Shoki Shoki Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, enjoying a comfortable and relaxing evening after an eventful day.

Lake Duluti and Serval Wildlife

After breakfast at the lodge, you will check out and depart Arusha for Lake Duluti, a peaceful crater lake surrounded by lush forest. Upon arrival, you will enjoy guided nature walks and gentle hikes along the forested trails, offering opportunities to observe birdlife, local flora, and the tranquil scenery of the area.

You will also experience canoeing on Lake Duluti, providing a calm and scenic perspective of the lake’s natural beauty. In the afternoon, you will continue to Serval Wildlife, a private wildlife sanctuary where you can enjoy a relaxed and interactive wildlife experience. Here, you will observe a variety of animals in a well-managed natural environment, ideal for photography and close-up wildlife viewing.

As this marks the final day of your tour, you will later be transferred back in the evening and dropped off at Kilimanjaro International Airport or your preferred location, bringing your memorable safari and nature journey to a smooth conclusion.
