Day 1

Arusha National Park

This morning your adventure begins, you will be picked from the airport or from your hotel in Arusha by your professional guide for a brief safari introduction before setting off toward Arusha National Park, located on the slopes of Mount Meru.

This park is a hidden gem, featuring diverse landscapes from grassy plains and crater lakes to montane forests. During your game drive, you may spot giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, colobus monkeys, and a variety of bird species. The park is also home to the elusive black-and-white colobus monkeys and hippos in the Momella Lakes.

Enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by stunning scenery before continuing with an afternoon game drive. In the evening, return to your accommodation at Banana Eco Farm Lodge for dinner and overnight stay, soaking in the beauty of Tanzania’s wildlife.

Day 2

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park

This morning your adventure continues, you will set out after breakfast from your lodge, setting off toward Tarangire National Park. Its landscape is characterized by open savannah, acacia forests, towering baobab trees, and expansive seasonal swamps in the southern section.

During the dry season, both the river and wetlands attract large concentrations of wildlife, making Tarangire one of the best parks for animal viewing. It is especially famous for its impressive elephant populations, often seen moving in large family groups. The park is also a sanctuary for uncommon species such as the greater kudu, fringe-eared oryx, and the distinctive ashy starling.

You will pause for a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing your afternoon game drive until late in the day. In the evening, you will depart Tarangire and drive to Migombani Campsite, where you will settle in for your overnight stay.

Day 3

Ngorongoro Crater

On this day, after breakfast depart towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. After a short scenic drive through the highlands, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife areas.

Inside the crater, you will enjoy a rewarding game drive across grasslands, wetlands, and acacia forests, with excellent opportunities to see elephants, lions, buffaloes, hippos, and a wide variety of birdlife, as well as the rare black rhino. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed within the crater, surrounded by breathtaking scenery.

In the evening, you will ascend from the crater and drive back, passing through scenic landscapes. Upon arrival, you will relax at your campsite, have dinner and an overnight stay, enjoying a comfortable evening after an eventful day.

Day 4

Lake Eyasi & Cultural Experience

Lake Eyasi & Cultural Experience

After breakfast, you will depart for Lake Eyasi, a remote and scenic area near the Great Rift Valley. Here, you will visit the Hadzabe and Datoga communities, two of Tanzania’s most authentic indigenous tribes. The Hadzabe are among the last true hunter-gatherers in Africa, and you may have the rare opportunity to observe their traditional hunting techniques, daily routines, and way of life. The Datoga people, known for their skilled blacksmithing, will introduce you to their customs, cattle-based culture, and craftsmanship.

After the cultural visits, you will explore the shores of Lake Eyasi, a seasonal soda lake attracting birdlife and offering peaceful landscapes. This enriching day provides deep cultural insight and meaningful interaction. Then begin you journey returning to Arusha for your departing flight later this night or dropping you off at your desired location, marking a memorable end to your safari with Wild Experience Safaris & Tours.
