Transfer and game drive in Amboseli

You will be picked up from your Nairobi hotel or the airport in the morning and depart south toward Amboseli National Park. The drive takes you through scenic countryside with views of local villages and open plains. You will arrive at your lodge or camp in time for lunch, followed by some time to relax and enjoy the surroundings. In the late afternoon, you will head out for your first game drive in Amboseli, famous for its large elephant herds and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Amboseli Exploration

After an early breakfast, you will depart for a morning game drive when wildlife is most active. Amboseli offers excellent sightings of elephants, lions, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and a variety of birdlife, all set against the dramatic backdrop of Africa’s highest mountain. You may return to the lodge for lunch and rest, or enjoy a picnic lunch in the park. Later in the afternoon, enjoy another game drive before returning to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Amboseli to Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, you will check out and begin your journey toward the Great Rift Valley and Lake Naivasha. The drive is scenic, with panoramic views of the Rift Valley escarpment. You will arrive at Lake Naivasha in time for lunch. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a boat ride on the lake, offering close encounters with hippos and abundant birdlife, and a guided nature walk on Crescent Island among giraffes, zebras, and antelopes. Dinner and overnight at your lodge by the lake.

Lake Naivasha to Lake Nakuru NP

Following breakfast, you will depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving before lunchtime. After lunch at your lodge, you will head out for an afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru is renowned for its flamingos (seasonal), rich birdlife, and excellent chances of seeing both black and white rhinos. Other wildlife includes lions, leopards, buffaloes, and Rothschild giraffes. Enjoy the scenic viewpoints overlooking the lake before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
