After the trek, continue to Murchison Falls National Park and visit the Top of the Falls, where the River Nile is forced through a narrow rocky gorge before plunging downstream. Enjoy the spectacular views before proceeding into the park for an evening game drive. Look out for elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, lions, and other wildlife as the afternoon cools. After an early breakfast, head out for a morning game drive across the savannah plains of Murchison Falls National Park. Search for elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, leopards, hartebeests, Uganda kobs, and other wildlife while enjoying the park’s beautiful landscapes. Return for lunch before heading to the Nile for an afternoon boat cruise to the bottom of Murchison Falls. Cruise past hippos, crocodiles, and abundant birdlife, with opportunities to see elephants and other animals along the riverbanks. The cruise offers spectacular views of the falls from below before returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

After the trek, depart Kibale and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, enjoying scenic views of western Uganda along the way. You may also visit the Bunyampaka salt area to learn about traditional salt mining. Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation before an afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel. After breakfast, check out of your lodge and begin the journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Drive through the Ishasha Sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, renowned for its famous tree-climbing lions. Enjoy a game drive through the area with opportunities to search for lions resting in fig trees, as well as elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, and other wildlife. Afterward, continue toward Bwindi, stopping for lunch at a convenient location along the way. Arrive at your lodge later in the afternoon, check in, and enjoy some time to relax while surrounded by the beautiful forest and highland scenery. Dinner and overnight will be at your booked lodge.

Day 9

You will have breakfast at 7:00 am, have your packed lunch, and then head to the park headquarters for the briefing. After the briefing, you will be split into small groups of 8 people. You will be allocated a ranger guide to take you to and from the forest. You'll start hiking into the forest in search of these gentle giants. It takes 30 minutes to 6 hours to find them, and the time taken depends on their movement. You'll spend an hour in their presence after finding them. After gorilla tracking, you will go back to the lodge to freshen up. Afterward, you will head to Uganda's smallest national park, Mgahinga Gorilla Nartional Park. You'll check it at the lodge in the nearby town of Kisoro.

You'll spend an hour in their presence and then head to Lake Bunyonyi for relaxation and an overnight stay.

Explore the park on foot while looking for zebras, giraffes, impalas, elands, warthogs and other wildlife, while learning about the surrounding ecosystem. After the walk, return to the lodge, check out and begin your transfer to Entebbe. Enjoy the changing countryside along the way, with a convenient stop for lunch at the Equator crossing point at Kayabwe. On arrival in Entebbe, transfer to Entebbe International Airport in time for check-in and your onward flight, marking the end of your memorable Uganda safari.
