Dar es Salaam to Nyerere NP

Picked from Dar es Salaam at 7am and drive for 4 hours to Nyerere. You will enjoy the landscapes and features of the country while you are driving. You will arrive at camp for a hot lunch then enjoy a sunset boat drive where you will be able to see crocodiles and hippos. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the Nyerere tented camp.

Game Drive in Nyerere NP

After breakfast at the camp, you will leave with packed lunches to enjoy game drives inside the park. You can expect to see a large number of animals like lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and hyenas. You will also see a large variety of birds, and wonderful scenery with varied topography including wetlands, dry grassland, light acacia forest, and higher ground with vast views of far-off mountains. In the afternoon, you will take your lunch and have some rest before proceeding with the game drive and overnight stay at Nyerere tented camp.
