Nairobi - Amboseli National Park

On your first day, a Jacmiya Safaris representative will meet you with a warm welcome at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) or your Nairobi hotel. You will then board your awaiting pop-up roof minivan vehicle and depart for Amboseli. Arrive at Amboseli in time for check-in and lunch, after which you will proceed for an afternoon game drive in the park.

Amboseli is home to African elephants, the gentle giants of the wild, and hosts iconic wildlife, including four of the Big Five species. The park offers an up-close encounter with herds of big-tusked African elephants that roam the park. Across the park’s open savannah grasslands, catch a glimpse of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest summit, which towers over the park across the border.

Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the campsite or agreed lodges.

Unrivaled Amboseli National Park Experience

The driver, who is a professional guide, will pick you up from the accommodation site after breakfast, then proceed for early morning game viewing. Amboseli National Park contains swampy grounds where elephants and hippos bathe in abundance. Expect to see a variety of plains game, antelopes, and birds.

You will be able to view wildlife against the backdrop of the free-standing, highest mountain in Africa. The panoramic view of this relief feature is just captivating. This is always determined by the prevailing weather conditions. You'll break for your picnic lunch and later afternoon game viewing, during which you'll track the animals. You'll drive back to the accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Amboseli National Park - Nairobi

Early in the morning, you'll enjoy your African breakfast and check out with packed picnic lunches for a morning game drive in the park. You will drive from Amboseli Kimana Gate to Amboseli Mashenani Gate with at least 2 hours of game drive in search of more wildlife and bird species. You'll exit Amboseli National Park and drive back to Nairobi. Arriving in Nairobi late in the afternoon, you will be dropped off at your hotel or at the airport to catch your flight.
