The day begins with an early morning departure from Zanzibar by a light aircraft flight to Nyerere National Park. Upon arrival, clients are warmly welcomed at the airstrip and transferred to their lodge or camp for a short rest and lunch.

In the afternoon, the adventure continues with an exciting game drive through the vast wilderness of the park. Guests explore the diverse landscapes of rivers, woodlands, and open plains while searching for wildlife such as elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, and a variety of bird species. A full day in Nyerere National Park offers a rich and diverse safari experience, combining unique activities that bring you closer to nature in one of Africa’s largest protected wilderness areas.

The day usually begins early in the morning with a sunrise game drive. As the first light spreads across the savannah, the park comes alive with activity. Predators such as lions and hyenas are often still active from the night, while elephants, giraffes, zebras, and buffaloes begin their daily routines. The cool morning hours provide the best opportunity to witness wildlife at its most active, and the scenery—ranging from open plains to riverine forests—is breathtaking. After lunch, the adventure continues with an optional guided walking safari, led by an armed ranger. This activity offers a completely different perspective of the African bush.
