The Northern Trek

We will meet you at the airport in Nairobi or your city hotel. We will brief you on the details of your safari then we drive towards the central Kenya into the Northern part where the wilderness of Samburu National Reserve awaits. Your drive is scenic and you will pass through the Kenyan highlands and historical places. You can stop a long the way for breathtaking views. You will arrive in time for lunch at your camp. After lunch, relax a bit before proceeding for an afternoon game drive. This is the best time of day to view nocturnal hunters who prepare for their nightly expeditions. Begin your first game drive in Samburu, where you'll have the chance to spot unique wildlife such as reticulated giraffes, Grevy's zebras, and the elusive leopard.
Return to your lodge for dinner and relax by the campfire, sharing stories of your day's adventures.

Full day Samburu National Reserve

The dawn opens up into the golden bands of birds singing and whistling as we start our day in the bush by scanning the river from our tent’s veranda with a cup of streaming coffee in hand. Before the dew is off the grass, we’re off in pursuit of the elephants, lions, leopards and cheetahs that thrives in the reserve grasslands and acacia woodlands. You will be taking your lunch with you in the morning as you leave. The whole day will be spent exploring this amazing game reserve, it gives you the refreshment of your mind as the park is not populated and not many people come here to explore. The park is home to the big five, Elephant, Lion, Rhino, Leopard, Buffalo, Gerenuk, Reticulated Giraffe, Somali Ostrich, Gravy Zebra, Besia Oryx, Endangered Wild Dog as well as Pun cake Tortoise - also endangered.
