Day 2

After an early breakfast, depart Nairobi and enjoy a scenic drive south toward Amboseli National Park. The journey offers views of rural Kenya, local villages, and vast open plains.
Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge, followed by an afternoon game drive. Amboseli is world-renowned for its large herds of elephants, often seen moving gracefully across the plains with the majestic backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro.
During your game drive, keep an eye out for lions, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeests, and a wide variety of bird species. Start your day with a short morning game drive in Amboseli, when wildlife is most active and the light is perfect for photography. Afterward, proceed to the Namanga border crossing.
Following immigration and customs formalities, meet your Tanzanian safari guide and continue your journey to Arusha, a vibrant town known as the gateway to Tanzania’s northern safari circuit. From here, drive onward to the lush highlands of Karatu, located near the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

After breakfast, descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is often referred to as Africa’s “Garden of Eden” due to its incredible concentration of wildlife within a collapsed volcanic caldera.
Here, you have excellent chances of spotting the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard—along with hippos, zebras, and flamingos around the soda lake.
In the afternoon, ascend the crater and continue your journey toward the Ndutu region. The drive takes you through breathtaking landscapes, transitioning from highland forests to open plains.
Arrive in Ndutu, located within the southern Serengeti National Park ecosystem, where the Great Migration gathers during the calving season. Enjoy your first game drive in this wildlife-rich area before heading to camp.

Today is dedicated to a full-day game drive in Ndutu, the heart of the Great Migration calving season (December to March).
During this period, hundreds of thousands of wildebeest spread across the plains to give birth, with thousands of calves born each day. This abundance of vulnerable newborns attracts predators, creating some of the most dramatic wildlife interactions you can witness in Africa.
Expect to see lions stalking the herds, cheetahs sprinting across the plains, and hyenas competing for opportunities. At the same time, you will witness tender moments between mothers and calves, offering a powerful contrast in the cycle of life.
The vast open landscapes also provide exceptional photography opportunities, with endless horizons filled with wildlife.

Seronera is famous for its year-round wildlife concentrations, particularly predators, thanks to permanent water sources. Here, you have excellent chances of spotting lions, leopards resting in trees, elephants, buffaloes, and possibly cheetahs hunting in the open plains.
Arrive at your camp in the late afternoon and enjoy a relaxing evening under the African sky.
