Your safari begins with a morning pick-up from Nairobi by our Landmark Expeditions driver-guide. After a short safari briefing, depart for Amboseli National Park, one of Kenya’s most scenic wildlife destinations, famous for its large elephant herds and breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro.
The drive takes you through open countryside, small towns, and beautiful landscapes as you make your way toward southern Kenya. Arrive at Amboseli Sopa Lodge in time for check-in and lunch, followed by some time to relax and enjoy the lodge’s peaceful setting.
In the late afternoon, head out for your first game drive in Amboseli National Park. The park is home to elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, gazelles, hyenas, and a variety of birdlife. On a clear evening, Mount Kilimanjaro creates a stunning backdrop for wildlife photography.
Return to Amboseli Sopa Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Full Day in Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive in Amboseli National Park, one of Kenya’s best places to see large elephant herds and enjoy beautiful views of Mount Kilimanjaro on clear mornings.
Explore the park’s open plains, acacia woodlands, and lush wetlands, home to elephants, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, hippos, antelopes, and many bird species.
At midday, enjoy a picnic lunch at Observation Point, a scenic viewpoint offering panoramic views of Amboseli’s swamps, wildlife areas, and surrounding landscapes. After lunch, continue with your afternoon game drive as animals become more active in the cooler hours.
In the late afternoon, you may enjoy an optional Maasai village cultural visit to learn about Maasai traditions, dances, beadwork, and daily life.
Return to Amboseli Sopa Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3
Amboseli to Lake Naivasha
Amboseli to Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, check out from Amboseli Sopa Lodge and begin your journey toward Lake Naivasha, a beautiful freshwater lake located in the Great Rift Valley. The drive offers changing scenery as you travel from Amboseli’s dry plains toward the lush Rift Valley region.
Arrive at Lake Naivasha Resort in the afternoon and check in. After lunch, enjoy some time to relax by the lakeside and take in the peaceful atmosphere of the resort.
Later in the afternoon, you enjoy a boat ride on Lake Naivasha, where you can spot hippos, fish eagles, pelicans, kingfishers, and other birdlife. You will also visit Crescent Island for a guided walking safari among giraffes, zebras, waterbucks, and gazelles in a beautiful natural setting.
Return to Lake Naivasha Resort for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4
Lake Naivasha to Ol Pejeta Conservancy

After breakfast, depart Lake Naivasha and travel north toward Ol Pejeta Conservancy, one of Kenya’s leading wildlife conservancies, located between the Aberdares and Mount Kenya.
Enjoy the scenic drive through the central highlands, passing farmlands, market towns, and beautiful countryside. Arrive at Sweetwaters Serena Camp in time for check-in and lunch. The camp offers a beautiful setting overlooking a waterhole, where wildlife can often be seen from the comfort of the camp.
In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive in Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Ol Pejeta is home to the Big Five, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinos. The conservancy is especially known for its rhino conservation efforts and offers excellent chances of seeing both black and white rhinos.
Return to Sweetwaters Serena Camp for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive in Ol Pejeta Conservancy, one of Kenya’s top wildlife and conservation destinations. Explore the conservancy’s open plains, acacia woodlands, and riverine areas as you search for rhinos, elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, hyenas, and rich birdlife.
Ol Pejeta is especially known for its rhino conservation efforts, offering excellent chances to see both black and white rhinos. During the day, you may visit the Endangered Species Enclosure, home to the last remaining northern white rhinos, and learn about ongoing conservation work.
You may also visit the Chimpanzee Sanctuary, which provides a safe refuge for rescued chimpanzees.
Enjoy lunch at the camp or during your safari plan, then continue with an afternoon game drive before returning to Sweetwaters Serena Camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Wake up to a relaxed morning at Sweetwaters Serena Camp, with the chance to enjoy the peaceful views around the camp and possibly spot wildlife near the waterhole. After breakfast, check out and begin your scenic drive back to Nairobi.
Travel through the beautiful central highlands, enjoying views of farmlands, hills, and rural towns along the way. Depending on your schedule, optional stops can be made en route for refreshments or souvenirs.
Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon and be dropped off at your hotel, residence, or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO), marking the end of your enriching 6-day Kenya safari.
