The crater is surrounded by a ring of extinct volcanoes, and its floor, dotted with watering holes, shelters some 30,000 animals.
The 5–6-hour game drive on the crater floor will provide plenty of wildlife-viewing opportunities. Keeping your camera ready is definitely recommended. Since the crater is relatively compact, you can see a wide variety of animals and birds within a short period of time.
