The Masai Mara is the heart of Kenyan tourism, with large species of mammals, amphibians, and reptiles, as well as over 400 bird species recorded in the reserve. Nowhere in Africa is wildlife more abundant, and it is for this reason that a visitor hardly misses seeing the Big Five (buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion, and rhino). Your picnic lunch will be at the Mara River migration point.

After breakfast, you will proceed to Lake Naivasha, a beautiful freshwater lake located in the Great Rift Valley, famous for its serene environment and abundant birdlife. Here, you can enjoy optional activities such as a boat ride to explore the lake’s tranquil waters and observe hippos, waterbirds, and other wildlife up close. You may also visit Crescent Island Sanctuary, where you can take a guided nature walk among freely roaming animals such as giraffes, zebras, and antelopes — a truly unique experience.

Afterward, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to Hell’s Gate National Park in the afternoon.
