Depart Nairobi early and drive south through Maasai countryside toward Amboseli National Park, arriving in time for lunch at your lodge. After a short rest, head out for an afternoon game drive across the dusty plains with Mount Kilimanjaro rising dramatically in the background. Amboseli is renowned for its large-tusked elephants, often seen crossing marshlands fed by underground springs. You may also spot buffalo, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, and predators such as lion and cheetah. Enjoy a full day of exploration in Amboseli with morning and afternoon game drives. The early hours offer the best chance to see Kilimanjaro clearly before clouds gather, while animals are most active. Traverse open plains, seasonal lake beds, and lush swamps where elephants gather to drink and bathe. Your guide will interpret animal behavior and the unique ecosystem shaped by volcanic soils and underground water sources. Between drives, return to the lodge for meals and relaxation, or simply enjoy views from the camp. The afternoon drive continues deeper into the park, searching for hyena, jackal, and large herds moving across the grasslands. End the day with a relaxed evening at the lodge.

Day 3

Amboseli - Tarangire National Park

Amboseli - Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart Amboseli and proceed toward the Kenya–Tanzania border, completing immigration formalities before continuing to Tarangire National Park. Arrive in Tarangire around midday and begin your game drive en route to the lodge. Tarangire is famed for its ancient baobab trees, rolling savannah, and the Tarangire River, which attracts wildlife year-round. Large elephant families, buffalo, giraffe, and zebra are common, while lions and leopards follow the herds. The park’s birdlife is exceptional, with colorful species thriving around the riverine habitats. After an afternoon of wildlife viewing, check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight, surrounded by the quiet beauty of northern Tanzania.

Day 4

Tarangire - Ngorongoro Crater

Depart Tarangire after breakfast and drive through the scenic highlands toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Ascend the crater rim, enjoying sweeping views before descending 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full game drive. This UNESCO-listed caldera hosts an extraordinary density of wildlife, including lion, elephant, buffalo, hippo, and the endangered black rhino.
