After lunch and a short rest at your lodge, head out for an afternoon game drive. Day 3

After breakfast, depart Amboseli and drive to the Namanga border to cross into Tanzania. Continue toward Lake Manyara National Park, arriving around midday. Enjoy a game drive through the park’s diverse habitats, ranging from groundwater forest and open grasslands to the alkaline lake itself. Lake Manyara is well known for tree-climbing lions, large baboon troops, elephants, and abundant birdlife including flamingos and pelicans. The compact size of the park allows for rewarding wildlife viewing in a short time. Later in the afternoon, proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight near the park.

Ascend to the crater rim and descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive. The varied landscapes of grasslands, swamps, and soda lakes make wildlife viewing outstanding.
