Sunrise Game Drive in Serengeti & Transfer to Ngorongoro

Begin the day with an early morning game drive in Serengeti National Park, setting out just after sunrise when wildlife is at its most active. This is one of the best times to witness the park come to life, with predators returning from their night hunts and herbivores grazing across the golden plains. The soft morning light also offers excellent opportunities for photography and unforgettable views of the Serengeti.

After your morning game drive, you’ll begin your journey out of the park, enjoying an en-route game drive as you make your way toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Keep an eye out for wildlife along the route before arriving at your camp in the late afternoon. The cooler highland climate and peaceful surroundings provide the perfect setting to relax before your final safari day.

Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive – Return to Arusha

After an early breakfast, descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. As the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera, the crater is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife within a relatively small area, making a half-day safari an ideal amount of time to explore its diverse habitats. Keep an eye out for lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, hyenas, and, with a bit of luck, the endangered black rhino.

Following your morning game drive, enjoy lunch before beginning the drive back to Arusha, where you’ll arrive in the late afternoon. This marks the end of your safari experience.

For many travellers, Arusha serves as a gateway to their next destination, with onward flights to places such as Zanzibar. However, if you would prefer to return to Nairobi, we can arrange an optional road transfer on the following day at an additional cost. Simply let us know when planning your trip, and we’ll be happy to include this in your itinerary.
