Nairobi to Amboseli

Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel, residence, or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi. After a short safari briefing, depart for Amboseli National Park via the Nairobi–Mombasa Highway, enjoying scenic views of the Kenyan countryside along the way.

Arrive at your mid-range camp in time for lunch and check-in. After some time to relax, head out on an afternoon game drive through Amboseli's vast plains, famous for their large elephant herds and breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Keep an eye out for lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, gazelles, and a variety of bird species.

As the sun sets, return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay, preparing for another exciting day of wildlife exploration.

Visit the famous Observation Hill, where you'll enjoy panoramic views of the park, its wetlands, and the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro (weather permitting). Continue searching for Amboseli's iconic elephant herds, as well as lions, cheetahs, hyenas, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, impalas, and an impressive variety of birdlife.

Enjoy your picnic lunch at a designated scenic spot within the park before continuing your afternoon wildlife viewing. As the day comes to an end, return to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay, reflecting on another memorable day in the African wilderness.

Amboseli to Nairobi

Begin your journey back to Nairobi, passing through the scenic plains and local communities of southern Kenya. Stop for lunch en route (at own expense unless otherwise stated) before continuing to the city.
