Day 1

You will be picked up in the morning by our driver guide from the airport or your hotel in Nairobi. After a short safari briefing, begin your 3.5hrs journey towards the northern region through the central agricultural highlands. You might be lucky to view Kenya's tallest mountain - Mt Kenya, before you get to Nanyuki town. Stop at the Equator crossing. Arrival at the park and take a short game drive. Transfer to the camp. After lunch, go out for an afternoon game drive. Ol Pejeta boasts an astounding variety of animals including non-indigenous chimpanzees and the Big Five. It is the best location to see the rhino. The combination of amazing wildlife and stunning views across the open plans will guarantee you an unforgettable safari experience.

Day 2

After breakfast, depart early for a 3.5hrs drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrive and check in at Lanet Matfarm Resort (other options: Flamingo Hill Camp, Sentrim Elementaita Lodge, Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge, Sarova Lion Hill Lodge, Lake Nakuru Lodge, Mbweha Camp). Take lunch before an afternoon game drive. The park covers 180 sq km and is home to warthogs, waterbuck, buffaloes, reed bucks, and the occasional leopard. White and black rhinos were introduced to the park some years ago. The park has also retained its reputation as an ornithologists’ delight with more than 400 species of bird found there.

Depart for a 6hrs journey to Masai Mara National Reserve. Arrive and check in at Enchoro Camp. (options: Ilkeliani Camp, Neptune Mara Rianta Camp, Fig Tree Camp, Sentrim Mara Camp, Mara Sopa Lodge, Sarova Mara Camp, Mara Serena Lodge and many others). Take lunch before an afternoon tour of a Masai village or nature walk. It is the most famous and most visited reserve in Kenya and offers breathtaking views as seen in the film ‘Out of Africa’, where much of it was filmed. It has a high density of wildlife including the “Big Five” and many varieties of plains game. The phenomenal movement of the wildebeests dubbed as the 'Great Migration' can be witnessed here annually from late June to October.
