Your safari begins with an early morning pickup from your Nairobi hotel or the airport at around 7:00 am. Travel west toward the Maasai Mara, stopping at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for photographs and a chance to admire the dramatic scenery. Continue through the Kenyan countryside and arrive in the Mara around lunchtime. After lunch, take time to relax and refresh before heading out at approximately 4:00 pm for your first game drive. Explore the reserve until sunset, watching for lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and other wildlife. The Maasai Mara offers excellent wildlife viewing throughout the year, with the famous wildebeest migration usually taking place between July and October.

Keep your camera ready as you search for lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, crocodiles, gazelles, impalas, hyenas, warthogs, and, with luck, the elusive black rhino. The reserve also supports an impressive variety of birdlife, including ostriches, storks, falcons, and other species. Enjoy your picnic lunch in the wild before continuing the game drive and returning to your lodge later in the day.

Return to the camp for breakfast before checking out and starting the journey toward Lake Nakuru National Park. Travel through the scenic Great Rift Valley landscapes and arrive in time for lunch. After some time to relax, head out around 4:00 pm for an afternoon game drive. Explore the park’s diverse habitats, from the lake and surrounding woodland to open grasslands and rocky escarpments. Keep an eye out for rhinos, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and various bird species. Return to camp around sunset for dinner and overnight rest.

After a relaxing break, head out for an afternoon game drive across the park’s open plains. Amboseli is especially famous for its impressive elephant herds and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Watch for lions, buffaloes, leopards, elephants, and other wildlife before returning to camp around sunset for dinner and overnight accommodation.

Begin your journey back to Nairobi, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or another agreed location, marking the end of your safari.
