Drive from Nairobi to Ol Pejeta Wildlife Conservancy
At 07:00, meet our hospitality representative in your hotel lobby. After introductions to your dedicated safari driver-guide and a pre-safari briefing, depart via the Great North Road, through the famed Kenyan Central Highlands to the Equator point just before Nanyuki town for a brief stopover.
Here, the locals perform a water demonstration to qualify the position of the equator, and for a small tip you will be awarded an "equator certificate". Drive to Solio Game Reserve, a private wildlife conservancy in the valley between Mount Kenya and the Aberdare Mountains. It is internationally celebrated as the most successful private rhinoceros sanctuary in Africa. Other animals include lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffalo, zebras, giraffes, and various antelopes like eland and oryx.
Arrive in time for lunch at Solio Game Lodge, then enjoy an afternoon game drive in the private game reserve before driving to your overnight destination in Ol Pejeta Wildlife Conservancy.

Ol Pejeta Wildlife Conservancy
Ol Pejeta Wildlife Conservancy
Spend a full day in the conservancy with morning and afternoon game-viewing drives. Home to all the members of the "Big Five" (elephant, rhino, lion, buffalo and leopard), the conservancy has a higher wildlife-to-area ratio than any Kenyan national park and is 1 of only 4 private game conservancies to have been founded in Kenya.
At the forefront of the Kenyan conservancy program, the conservancy boasts the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa, hosts the only chimpanzee sanctuary in Kenya, and shelters large numbers of rare and endangered species.
