Your safari begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi, driving south towards Amboseli National Park. Enjoy the scenic journey through the countryside and local communities before arriving in Amboseli around midday. After checking into your lodge and enjoying lunch, Take time to recharge before embarking on your first afternoon game drive. Explore the beautiful Amboseli plains as you search for large herds of elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, gazelles and, with some luck, lions and other predators.
The afternoon drive also offers excellent opportunities for photography, particularly with the magnificent Mount Kilimanjaro forming a dramatic backdrop when the weather is clear. As the sun begins to set, enjoy the beautiful colors across the plains before returning to your lodge for dinner and your overnight stay in Amboseli.

Day 2

After an early breakfast, set out for a full day of exploration in Amboseli National Park. The morning game drive takes you across the open plains and around the park's wetlands, where elephants and other wildlife often gather. You will have opportunities to observe the famous Amboseli elephant herds, as well as lions, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, hippos and numerous bird species. Continue to Observation Hill, where you can enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the Amboseli ecosystem and, when the skies are clear, Mount Kilimanjaro.
Enjoy lunch at the lodge or a picnic lunch before continuing with your safari in the afternoon. You may also have the opportunity to visit a Maasai community and experience aspects of traditional Maasai culture, including their homes, lifestyle, music and traditional dances. Later in the afternoon, return for another game drive across the plains before heading back to the lodge for dinner and your second overnight stay in Amboseli.

Day 3

Begin the day with hearty breakfast at the lodge, check out and begin your journey towards the Taita Hills area. The drive takes you through changing landscapes and local communities before arriving at Salt Lick Safari Lodge around lunchtime.
After lunch and some time to settle in, proceed for an afternoon game drive in Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary. The sanctuary offers an excellent opportunity to encounter elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, antelopes and, with luck, predators such as lions and leopards. Have the most memorable experience watching wildlife gather around natural salt lick. As evening approaches, return to Salt Lick Safari Lodge and enjoy the unique atmosphere of the lodge with elevated viewing points, providing opportunities to observe wildlife around the waterhole. Dinner and overnight relaxation will be at Salt Lick Safari Lodge while enjoying the peaceful sounds of the African wilderness.

Commence your beautiful day with warm breakfast before checking out and continuing with your drive towards Tsavo East National Park. After arriving in the Tsavo area and having lunch, begin your afternoon game drive through the vast wilderness of Tsavo East. The park is famous for its red elephants whose appearance is influenced by the parks red soil, extensive savannah landscapes and diverse wildlife.
As you explore the park, look out for elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, antelopes and a variety of bird species. Explore the famous Galana River and Aruba Dam, which is an important water source and wildlife-viewing location. Continue with the afternoon game drive until sunset before checking into your lodge. Enjoy dinner and spend the night enjoying the explicit peaceful atmosphere of the African bush in Tsavo East.
