Enjoy an early breakfast and depart Amboseli at 07:30 AM. Cross the spectacular Shetani Lava Flow—a massive, black jagged landscape formed by volcanic activity—and enter Tsavo West. Head straight to the famous Mzima Springs for a guided nature walk to the underwater viewing chamber to watch hippos and crocodiles. Arrive at your lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, Visit the protected Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary to search for the endangered black rhino. Spend the rest of the afternoon trailing Tsavo's famous "red elephants."
