Transfer from Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

Depart Nairobi in the morning and travel through the scenic countryside to Amboseli National Park, entering through Kimana Gate and arriving in time for lunch at your lodge or camp. After a short rest, set out on an afternoon game drive across the park’s open plains and wetlands, where you may see elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and abundant birdlife beneath the striking backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. Return to your accommodation in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Amboseli Wildlife and Cultural Experience

Begin with an early morning game drive when wildlife is most active and Mount Kilimanjaro may be clearly visible. Return to the lodge or camp for breakfast, then continue exploring Amboseli’s plains, acacia woodlands, and marshes, where large elephant herds, lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, hippos, and numerous bird species may be seen. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park or lunch at your accommodation before an afternoon game drive.

On day 3, set out on another game drive to explore areas of the park not visited the previous day and enjoy more opportunities to photograph Amboseli’s wildlife and sweeping landscapes. Visit Observation Hill for panoramic views over the wetlands, plains, and distant Mount Kilimanjaro. You may also visit a nearby Maasai community to learn about local traditions and daily life.
