Today, you will be met at the Maun International Airport and then take a short drive to a nearby shopping center to exchange currency and buy alcoholic drinks for your trip (if desired). After our shopping trip, we will drive to the guest house for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 2

Nxai Pan National Park

Nxai Pan National Park

After breakfast at the guest house, we drive for three hours to the gate of Nxai Pan National Park. You will have lunch along the way. During our drive, we will pass numerous baobab trees. This area features the highest concentration of these trees in all of Nxai Pan, and indeed Botswana itself!

Day 3

Breakfast, tea and coffee will be served in the camp early in the morning before our drive to the salt pan. You will spend three hours there before returning to the camp for lunch at around 12h00. After lunch, you will have time to relax before going on your afternoon game drive at 15h00.

Day 4

Nxai Pan National Park

Wake up before sunrise and have an early breakfast so that you can head into the park and see the animals when they are at their “peak” activity. This is our last day in Nxai Pan, but we still have so much to do! Return to the camp for lunch and then relax until your sunset game drive begins at 18h00.

Mokoro time

Mokoro time

Enjoy tea and coffee in the morning before your transfer to Maun, where we will spend the next four days. Because the trip will take five hours, we will eat lunch along the way. If we see animals during our journey we will be sure to stop – one of the benefits of flexibility!

Day 6

Moremi Game Reserve

Moremi Game Reserve

Have breakfast at the guest house and then drive to Moremi, which is situated in the Khwai area. We will also explore much of the Okavango area while we are here. Lunch will be served on the road while dinner will be enjoyed at the camp after our sunset drive in Moremi.

After your morning coffee and tea, we will go on an early game drive to explore the area before the sun gets too hot. Our game drive schedule depends on our sightings. If we have good sightings we will keep going. If not, no need to rush! After the morning drive, all our meals will be at the camp.

This will be our last day in Moremi. Start with an early game drive and then return to the camp for lunch and relaxation at 12h00. High tea will be provided around 15h00 and then we will go on an afternoon drive. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp.

Savuti

Savuti

Enjoy an early breakfast and then prepare to head toward Savuti. This destination is not far in kilometers, but the terrain makes the drive about five hours long. This is a great land for large cats, including lions and leopards. Lunch today will be enjoyed on the road.

After breakfast in the morning, you will drive across the large open lands of Savuti, making your way toward the marsh. We expect you will see an incredible array of wildlife, including lots of zebra, wildebeest, impala and others. All your meals will be served at the camp.

We will have breakfast on the other side of the Savuti, to experience a change of landscape and see some different vegetation. Lunch will be at the camp and high tea will be provided at around 15h00. Later, we will drive to see the Bushman rock paintings.

Today, we will transfer to Chobe National Park after breakfast. Due to the difficult road conditions, the drive can take up to five hours. We will have our lunch en-route. Chobe is also known as the “home of elephants” – so get excited! Dinner will be served at the camp.

Today, you will go on a riverboat to explore the incredible Chobe River. Here, we expect to see a large number of elephants and buffalos. We will also have plenty of time while on the river to look for birds. All your meals will be served at the campsite.

An early morning game drive takes you to all the key areas Chobe National Park has to offer. We will check out the riverfront area in the morning and then head back to camp for lunch, relaxing until high tea at 15h00. An afternoon game drive and an excellent sunset will be followed by dinner at the camp.
