Dar es Salaam - Kigoma - Gombe Stream National Park
Depart from Dar es Salaam Airport with a flight to Kigoma where upon arrival you will be picked up for the transfer to Kibirizi for your boat to Gombe Stream National Park. You'll arrive in time to take off for a chimpanzee tracking tour in the forest. Gombe Stream National Park’s main attraction is obviously the chimpanzee families that live protected inside the park’s boundaries. Visitors take walks deep into the forest to observe and sit with these extraordinary primates for an entire morning. Apart from chimpanzee viewing, many other species of primates live in these tropical forests. Colobus monkeys, baboons, forest pigs and dik dik inhabit the dense forest as well as a wide variety of tropical birdlife. Later in the evening, you will head to Gombe Bandas Lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.
