Day 1

Dar Es Salaam - Nyerere National Park

After breakfast at 8:00am, you'll be picked up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam and driven to Nyerere National Park. You will have a picnic lunch on the way. The journey takes about six hours through the most unexplored and untouched areas in Tanzania. In the afternoon, embark on a boat safari, where you’ll spot hippos and crocodiles in their natural habitat. Meals and your overnight stay will be at the camp.

Day 2

After breakfast you’ll go on a full day game drive in the reserve. Nyerere National Park is home to a large population of elephants, a significant number of buffalos, and wild dogs. Other species commonly seen here include lions, bushbuck, impala, giraffe, eland, baboon, zebra, kudus, and crocodile. Enjoy the beautiful scenery and explore more of Tanzania’s heritage across this extensive park. You'll have lunch in the noon, then continue with a game drive for the remaining hours. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp.

After breakfast, you'll embark on a walking safari, which is one of the most exciting and unique experiences you can have in Tanzania. You’ll be accompanied by armed rangers on this two-hour walk. After the walking safari, you’ll drive to Mikumi National Park for dinner and your overnight stay at the camp.

After an early breakfast, you'll have a full day of game viewing in Mikumi National Park. The Mikumi floodplain, which borders the mountain ranges, is the main feature of the park. Animals commonly found here include lions, elands, hartebeests, buffalos, wildebeests, giraffes, zebras, hippos, and elephants. Mikumi elephants are mainly grazers and do not cause damage to people. After a long drive, you'll have lunch before continuing with a game drive for the remaining hours. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp.

Day 5

Before breakfast, you’ll pay a visit to the Maasai people to learn more about their traditions and customs, and how to make fire using sticks. Later you’ll return to the camp to prepare for your journey back to Dar Es Salaam.
