Our shuttle partner will pick you up at the O.R Tambo Airport bus station at 07.45 on an open transfer (private transfers can be arranged), and will bring you to Ku Sungula Safari Lodge. Arrival time will be around 13h40. Ku Sungula Safari Lodge, located in the Balule Private Nature Reserve, is rich in wildlife. It has spectacular views as the border with the Kruger National Park is open and the Northern Drakensberg provides a great backdrop. The reserve is home to the Big 5, many other animal species and is also a paradise for birds.

Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed with a drink on our centrally located terrace. After checking in at the authentic rondavel reserved for you, you can relax on the terrace and enjoy a high tea. One of the safari highlights are the game drive safaris. Let our professional, passionate guides take you for an unparalleled bush experience. In an open safari vehicle, they bring you a few meters away from the wild animals.

Day 2

Get up early for a full day of adventure in the Kruger National Park. The Kruger Park is an extensive game reserve in the northeastern provinces of Limpopo and Mpumalanga in South Africa, on the border of Zimbabwe and Mozambique. It is one of the most famous game parks in Africa. The northern part covers a fairly arid wilderness with iron trees and sandy rivers. The middle and south are mainly characterized by grass plains.

Explore South Africa's premier game reserve destination in style in an open safari vehicle to spot the Big 5, Little 5, and/or the Ugly 5. Learn from our guides about the animals, plants, trees, birds, insects, amphibians, and the ecosystem and topography. Let yourself be carried away and enjoy the pristine bush intensely.

Be sure you have your binoculars ready: we will provide the rest. An early start accompanied by our professional guide, you leave the lodge heading out on a leisurely drive with beautiful scenery and loads od excitement!

Day 3

Balule Private Nature Reserve - Johannesburg

Greet the new day with a bushwalk. With the experienced knowledge of the armed guide, you will set off as your nostrils fill with the scent of crushing wild grass on your way through the bush. This experience is interactive and educational, with the guide teaching you about tracking, animal behavior and the bush's ecosystem. Smell and taste the wild herbs, learn traditional uses and explore the smaller wonders of the bush. Back at the lodge, an extensive breakfast awaits you. After breakfast, it is time to say goodbye with an open road transfer to Johannesburg O.R. Tambo Airport our shuttle partner leaves on 09:40 Am. Time of arrival in Johannesburg around 17:00-18:00 PM (private transfers can be arranged).
